Great food for a good price. They have sandwiches, pasties, and lunch specials everyday.
Over priced for "home cooked" soups & sandwiches, large menu. Staff were very condescending towards us when asked about (a.)foods/meal ingredients & (b.)would not admit the thermos holding regular, black coffee had not been properly cleaned after having a specialty blend in it...would NOT go back...

Best food anywhere .... the owner knows how to bake plus "GOOD" home cooking. Plus great speciality sandwiches. A must to visit and revisit over and over. Also , beautifully decorated. I was watching the news one night and Poppies Cafe got "The Clean Plate Award"....which is very special. A MUST TO GO......
